My journey in 2017....

January

Mama got her own store.
Had an outing with Izy and Tiqkah. We ate at Nando's.

February

Outing with Aini and Wawa. We had lunch at Waroeng Ayam Penyet
Group photos; a blue theme.
Nisha's wedding.

March

My roommates' Pharmnight.
ADN 2017 - didnt really care about the outfit. Literally just wore spectacles (usually i wear lens to events), and dress borrowed from Tiqkah.
An gave us his home-made pizzas during a kompang practice session! The pizzas were delicious yumzzz.
Last kompang competition for me :) We didn't get any placing tho.
Myeongdong Topokki with Tiqkah, Faz and Afiqah. (ok la not bad)

April

My first nephew was born!
Got my passport done at UTC with Izzati but we haven't get the chance to use that yet blergh...
Finally cleaned up the teeth in the perspex plate for model collection.
Went out to Murni with Wawa late at night and also went to TS to buy Wawa's dinner dress. We had Dubuyo's for lunch.

Fourth-wheeling Aini and Adham's dinner date with Wawa (lol, it was the first and the last time)
Presteethgious dinner outing at Dr. F's cafe (forgot la the name ish)

May

Last college dinner.
Ppipum Dinner
Outing sesh with Wawa, Huza and Mimah to KL Gateway.
Went cycling with Shiks around UM (just from kk2 to dtc hahaha)
Finished my preclinical denture projects!
Had the first starbucks ever in my life lol
Went to Postgrad's clinic for demo on rubber dam and clamps.
Went to support friends for their ko-k performance at dtc.
Experienced my first rubber dam and clamps done by groupmates Farah and Zq.
Had the annual group D outing at 4 Fingers.
Buka puasa with Shiks at Nando's
Finished my onlay project.

June

Presteethgious buka puasa at a hotel.
Bought my pink Asus notebook
Last sahur with Wawa before going back to hometown for sem break.
Raya. First time ever to have a colour theme; purple.

July

Aimi, Hanis, Dilla and Izzati came over.
I went to Ipoh and visited old schoolmates.
A trip to Kellie's castle with bestfriends.
Sem break~~~

August

A series of baking and cooking...

September

Went back to UM because sem break was over.
Moved in to University Tower due to not getting placement in college.
Orientation and got a new buddy junior into the buddyline.
Got my first list of patients to call.
Done with the group clinical thingy so we could begin with our individual patients.
Received the OHE box.

October

Demo on extractions...
Had an outing with ex-roommates at Sushi King and McD hahaha. Catching up sessions la pe lagi.
Buddy outing to Johny's... belanja my 2nd yr buddy.
MTH, Convocations, buddy grad outing, SFS.

November

Passed my Endo preclinical competency.
Extracted a real person's tooth! Hehehe
Went to Chow Kit to observe what the dentists do to the poor and homeless people to get a view on our next programme.

December

Back and forth sending our denture patient (Oh god please let this one finished successfully)

First time to eat Bingsu with buddies <3
Birthday- got a lot of wishes and presents from Adlina, Tiqkah, Yaya, Izy, Jimmy and Nini. Love them loads.
Sem break begins.

So here I am today. I hope it's not too late to wish "Happy New Year"! I am so relieved that I actually passed all those ups and downs in 2017! There are lots of moments that I cried, felt so down that I felt like giving up but fortunately I didn't.

A year ago I had a thought that I wouldn't be able to go through all those troubles and now, look... I am able to survive! So just to remind myself again and again, tough times will always pass. The things that remain are the memories. So just live in the present and be thankful for whatever I have.

There's a quote I remember saying,

If you are scared, you are living in the past. If you worry, you are living in the future. If you feel content, it means you are living in the present.
